- Refraining from threats, harassment, or intimidation of any kind.
2. Safety First
Safety is a top priority at Jada. All users are expected to:
- Comply with all local traffic and safety laws.
- Maintain appropriate vehicle conditions (for drivers) and ensure that the car is safe for passengers.
- Report any safety concerns or violations to Jada immediately.
3. Honesty and Integrity
Users must act honestly and with integrity while using Jada:
- Passengers should provide accurate information when booking a ride.
- Drivers should not overcharge or misrepresent themselves or their services.
- Avoid fraudulent actions, including the creation of fake accounts, false claims, or chargebacks.
4. Cleanliness and Hygiene
To ensure a pleasant experience for everyone:
- Drivers should maintain a clean and well-kept vehicle at all times.
- Passengers should respect the driver’s vehicle by avoiding littering or causing damage.
- Both drivers and passengers are expected to maintain personal hygiene to ensure a comfortable ride experience.
5. Punctuality
- Passengers should be ready and waiting at the pickup location at the agreed time.
- Drivers should make every effort to arrive promptly for scheduled rides and avoid unnecessary delays.
6. Prohibited Actions
The following behaviours are strictly prohibited:
- Violence, assault, or any form of physical harm to others.
- Discriminatory, abusive, or offensive language.
- Sexual harassment or misconduct.
- Use of drugs or alcohol during rides (for both drivers and passengers).
- Tampering with or damaging the app, platform, or vehicles.
- Engaging in illegal activities or asking drivers to do so.
7. Feedback and Reporting
We encourage users to provide constructive feedback and report any violations of this Code of Conduct:
- Use the in-app rating system to evaluate your experience.
- Contact Jada’s support team if you encounter any misconduct or safety concerns.
- Jada takes all reports seriously and will take appropriate action based on the situation, including suspension or banning of users who violate this Code of Conduct.
8. Consequences of Misconduct
Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in:
- Temporary or permanent suspension from the platform.
- Legal action in case of serious offenses, including violence or harassment.
- Reporting to local authorities for illegal activities.
9. Driver-Specific Guidelines
Drivers on the Jada platform are expected to:
- Hold a valid driver’s license, insurance, and meet local vehicle regulations.
- Provide passengers with a safe and comfortable experience.
- Avoid discrimination when accepting or providing rides.
- Respect the privacy of passengers and not share any personal information without consent.
10. Passenger-Specific Guidelines
Passengers are expected to:
- Respect the driver and their vehicle.
- Pay fares promptly and fairly.
- Communicate clearly and accurately regarding pickup locations and preferences.
- Refrain from inappropriate behavior that could make drivers feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
11. Privacy and Confidentiality
- Users should respect the privacy of others. Personal information, conversations, and interactions during rides should remain confidential unless both parties consent to sharing.
- Do not misuse Jada’s services to collect or distribute personal data for malicious purposes.
12. Continuous Improvement
Jada reserves the right to update and revise this Code of Conduct as necessary. Users are encouraged to review it regularly and provide feedback for improvements.
